The Federal Agency for Nature Conservation regularly reports about nature conservation programmes in Germany in a series called "Daten zur Natur". For the 2004 edition ibn contributed an analysis of the programmes for plant species protection in the 16 federal German states. 515 programmes for 409 plant species, sub-species or groups could be detected. Most programmes dealt with higher plants, some focused also on ferns and mosses. Results were presented in "Daten zur Natur 2004" of the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, pages 188 to 191 (only in German).
